This tutorial is to facilitate people learning to make videos, and not wait for the forum to load, or visit the forum everytime.
This is not the confirmed best method of video taking. Gladly share better ideas.

To take ur precious videos, you need two basic softwares.
fraps:

Windows Media Encoder: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx
Sadly, unregistered fraps only limits ur take to 30 secs... I am sure that most of u wan loooong takes, me too, but it cant be helped at the moment.
Install fraps, open it, and try to tweak the settings so that it fits you. Or you can just open maplestory, go to the place u wanna camera, and let the film roll. Default is f9, although u can change it, preferbly not mixing it up wit ur expression keys.(smile to the camera?lolx) go in, you see a changing yellow number on the screen, or not. That should not appear on your final outcome.
Take note: Anybody will hate the xtreme lag that follows when u hit f9. So practise ur moves before going on tv. The lag will not appear on your masterpiece. now go f9, and it is showtime.
counter will go red, btw. dun worri. Your taken prototype will take a LARGE amount of space, cos it is uncompressed. So dont go f9-happy. OK, now go to c:/(or ur hard drive)fraps. (tts the default)There should lay your 30sec work.

I tell ya, making a video abt your char. -does-not-need-30-sec. A string of vids featuring u fiting diff monsters is much better than a whole continuous boring film, unless u wanna feature urself fiting rog or smth, takes a long time.
BUt how the hell do we string them up? There is a good default prog, trust me. it is called windows movie maker. go there, and string em up, add your bkground music and subtitles. I gonna explain the basics, so u haf to do a little exploration urself.
Windows movie maker(wmm) is the string; your vids are the stringed items; your background music is an accompanying breeze; your subtitles is the narrator.
GO file>import into collections. Go find your vids and press ok. 1 vid at a time, so u haf to repeat again and again. Import your music too. Choose something cool, like despre tine or dragoestar dine tei, not sm funeral song or birthdae song or wedding song. Rap is okay. now drag your videos and songs into the timeline(change it from storyboard) provided.
ok, from then on, U are the movie director. drag the vids in orger, add subtitles with the help of the wizard, add credits;dun pagerise; mix and match, add transitions, add effect to the videos... i am veri interested to c the outcome. please publish it on the comments part, so i can c the movie.
